Volunteer to help more children read

The charity Schoolreaders places volunteers in primary schools to listen to children read on a one to one basis.

One in four primary school children leave school without reaching the necessary government literacy standard.

We are desperately looking for volunteers in Bridport for the local primary school.

Volunteers only need a spare hour or two a week and a good command of the English language.

It is very rewarding.
