This Privacy Policy sets out how Bridport Tourist Information Centre and Bridport Town Council uses and protects any information you give us when using this website.

Alternatively, there are opt-out options during the checkout process when you purchase tickets through our online shop.

We have to share your contact information with event organisers to ensure the smooth running of an event. This will be done in a safe and secure manner, and won’t be disclosed to any other third party.

In some cases, such as Bridport Literary Festival, you can opt-in to receive promotional marketing for the following years’ events. Data collected for this purpose will be shared securely with the event organiser and no other third party.

In some cases, such as Bridport Literary Festival, we will have to pass on your basic information, such as name, email address and contact telephone number, to the third party organisers of the events you are booking. This is in case any changes are made to the event, if it is postponed or cancelled, for instance, or the organisers need to get in contact with you.

Rights Related to Automated Decision Making and Profiling: Bridport Town Council does not use any form of automated decision making or the profiling of individual personal data.

Conclusion:In accordance with the law, we only collect a limited amount of information about you that is necessary for correspondence, information and service provision. We do not use profiling, we do not sell or pass your data to third parties. We do not use your data for purposes other than those specified. We make sure your data is stored securely.
