Allington Arts Weekend: Rough Assembly

Rough Assembly have played together for nearly 20 years. They are 4 musicians based in West Dorset: Dominic Faulkner – Violin and vocals; Maurice Blogg – Bass and backing vocals; Dave Lee -Percussion and backing vocals and Barry Bates – guitar, mandolin and vocals

They draw their songs and tunes from traditional and modern sources from Britain and North America. Typically they have an emphasis on strong melody, interesting stories and rousing choruses. Joyful folk music with messages of hope and humanity.
