Symondsbury Summer Feast

11jun6:30 PMSymondsbury Summer FeastAn Evening of Food, Friendship and a Little Garden Wisdom

Event Details

On Wednesday 11th June at 6.30pm, Symondsbury Estate is holding a Summer Feast in its historic Tithe Barn and garden. The relaxed evening will begin with welcome drinks served in the 14th-century Tithe Barn Garden, with views of Colmers Hill and the scent of summer roses in the air. Afterwards, enjoy a hearty, two-course supper created by Estate Head Chef, Jim Wanless, featuring ingredients grown in the Estate’s kitchen garden and sourced locally where possible, reflecting Symondsbury Estate’s commitment to local, sustainable food.

International garden designer and plantsman, Charles Chesshire, will also be giving a talk entitled The Art of Dishevelment. His witty and thought-provoking reflections on gardening, control and the beauty of letting go are sure to entertain and perhaps inspire a few conversations around the table.
