Enjoy an evening of readings by artist Helen Garrett, writer Kate Innes and guest poets, heart warming live music and seasonal refreshments.
Believed by some to be the most important night of the year, often marked by ritual, fire and feasting, we welcome you to celebrate this winter solstice weekend with us.
Helen and Kate will introduce the evening and then be followed by guest readers whose thoughtful and elemental works will transport us across time and landscape. Readers include Bridport Prize-winner Chris Waters.
This will be followed by the poetic songs of Aidan Simpson and the heart-filling vocals and music of Lucy Roberts, Sammy Hurden and Yada Cashmore – three women of different generations who share their songs of nature, time and season.

The last chance to view Helen’s paintings before the exhibition Primordial Dance closes.
Books, prints and CDs will be available for sale.
Wine and mince pies will be available.
