Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten is a richly detailed documentary by Julien Temple exploring the life of The Clash’s frontman, from his early years and punk revolution to his later reflective period with The Mescaleros. Featuring rare footage, personal recordings, and candid campfire interviews with friends and admirers, it’s both an intimate portrait and cultural chronicle—essential viewing for fans of punk, music history, and evocative documentary filmmaking.
