Workshop/ Course Description
Tues 22nd July 10am – 1pm Or Monday 18th August
10am – 1 pm.
Cyanotype is a photographic process using UV light to expose the prints. You can use seed heads, flowers, leaves, cut out shapes or lace to lay on treated papers before exposing to the UV light.
Bring a selection of suitable (flat) materials to experiment with, such as leaves, grasses, seed heads – dried or fresh – or even lace. Flowers, ferns and seeds heads make excellent prints, so press these between kitchen roll or newspaper under some heavy books for several days before use. You will need an apron or old shirt to protect your clothes.
Please bring £7.50 for the cost of the materials supplied. These include watercolour papers, solution and a large selection of dried flowers and seed heads for your use. Payable on the day, Thank you.
Refreshments provided.
For Group bookings of 4 or more on another day, please get in touch.
