Join us for a dawn walk discovering how to identify the birds and moths in the Hooke Park woodland.

This session will be followed by a plant and aquatic invertebrate survey at 10:30AM which you are welcome to stay on for but please also get a free ticket for this session as numbers are limited.

What to expect:

A 1.5 hour bird transect and point counts around the woodland followed by moth identification at traps set up the night before, led by local naturalist Luke Phillips (RSPB).
We will be serving coffee & breakfast at the end for the early birds.

Things to bring with you:

Sturdy shoes
Waterproofs/comfortable outdoor clothing
Binoculars (if you have them)

Please note, due to the nature of the activity numbers are limited and we are setting a minimum age of 16+.
