After much careful consideration, including discussion with Bridport Town Council, Bridport United Church has decided to hold a ‘slimmed down’ Christmas Tree Festival this year.
There will be fewer trees than previously and more widely spaced so as to minimise too much crowding around any individual tree.
There will a double focus this year:
(i) A tree to mark the work of the various Food Banks working to aid the community in Bridport.
(ii) A tree to support the invaluable work done by Bridport Town Council via it’s Community Fund.
The opening hours every week day, Monday to Friday, will be from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. so as to give opportunity for school parties to come in their own ‘bubble’ move around more freely between 9 – 11 a.m.
On Saturdays, the church will be open until 3.30 pm
On the Sundays: 12th & 19th December, the Christmas Tree Festival will be open to the public from 2.00 – 3.30 p.m.
The Festival will be officially opened on the evening of December 7th at 7.00 p.m. ….. More details to follow
