Workshop/ Course Description

Thursday 31st July 2025 . 9.30am to 4pm.

An excellent day to learn or brush up on rotary cutting skills & machine patchwork techniques. Learn quick accurate rotary cutting squares, and triangles. I can help you with colour choosing & explain the effects of toning fabrics together. During the day you will get used to sewing with a 1/4″ seam, master the art of pressing & joining blocks & rows of your patchwork so it all lies flat ready for quilting. You will learn to speed piece. (Also known as chain piecing). We will construct a design with your shapes & make it into a cushion front or this could be the start of a quilt.

Cutting Mats, Rulers & Cutters available to use or bring your own.

On Holiday? Don’t worry, come & use our machines & equipment, go home with a patchwork! Sewing Machine Hire is £5
