Allington Arts Weekend: Elizabeth Hornby - Piano *FREE EVENT*

Lizzie started playing the piano in childhood and has enjoyed over 35 years playing and 14 years composing.  Her most recent album Betrothal (2017) explores the themes ranging from her experience volunteering with refugees to pieces that dwell on finding love; writing for both her own wedding and that of her sister.

Most recently she composed a solo piano score for the silent film The Wind (1938), starring Lillian Gish which was performed live as part of the 2025 From Page to Screen Festival.
