Allington Arts Weekend: Print Workshop

This print-based workshop aims to bring out the artist in you. You will take home your own creation. The intention is to use various Lino cutting techniques to explore expressive mark making. The starting points will include an in-depth look at the woodcut techniques of Paul Nash and the motifs of Aboriginal art. The outcome will be that you develop your own pictorial narrative in response to the creation story found in Genesis. No experience is necessary. All abilities are welcome. All that is required is an open mind and a willingness to explore new ideas.  To enhance the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, home baked snacks and refreshments will be provided.
