The Ocelots & Louella Jade Eke at Bridport Arts Centre

The Ocelots’ UK tour – celebrating their acclaimed second album, Everything, When Said Slowly – highlights the twins’ rich blend of folk, indie and rock. 

Twin brothers, Ashley and Brandon Watson from Wexford, Ireland, explore themes of Irish migration, the perception of time, love and the simple joys of cycling through their music.

Blood harmonies are the centre of The Ocelots’ sound – the imperfections of a voice breaking or a tempo shifting. The twins blend absurdity and sincerity in an array of literature-inspired musings. Their imagery is very much urban, living outside of the romanticised world of cottage-core nostalgia.
