This illustrative talk will give a history of the many interesting inns and public houses in the Bridport area.

Some of the earlier pubs were run little more than as a sideline in the front room until economics or legislation closed them down.

Chris will show where some old pubs were and what has happened to them. He will also look at the pubs that have been in the town for many years, some of which have changed their names many times.
