Summer Tasting Tables

Symondsbury Estate is set to host three days of pop-up tasting events this August, inviting visitors to discover and enjoy some of the finest local food and drink producers Dorset and the surrounding region have to offer. The Symondsbury Summer Tasting Tables will take place on Thursday 7th, 14th and 28th August, from 10am to 4pm, in the newly extended Symondsbury Deli, located at Symondsbury Estate, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 6HG.

Each event will feature a curated trio of complementary local stallholders offering free tastings, and the chance to meet the makers behind exceptional local products – from organic cheeses and sparkling wines to handmade chocolates, ciders, seafood and more.

Symondsbury Summer Tasting Tables Schedule:

Thursday 7th August – Cheese, Wine and Aperitifs

• Pomme Blushe – Distinctive apple aperitif crafted from Dorset orchards with a promotional  price of £15 per bottle
• Godminster Cheese – Award-winning organic cheddar from Somerset
• Furleigh Estate – Family-owned Dorset vineyard offering still and sparkling wines

Thursday 14th August – Chocolate, Ice Cream and Apple Brandy

• Purbeck Ice Cream – Locally made, award-winning ice cream (the new lemon ripple flavour is a must-try)
• Somerset Cider Brandy – Cider-based aperitifs and liqueurs showcasing Somerset apples
• Chocolate Arthouse – Handcrafted chocolates with live chocolate tempering demonstrations

Thursday 28th August – Cider, Olives, Oils and Seafood

• Sea Sisters – Sustainably sourced British fish and seafood
• Temple Cider – Naturally fermented cider with a special event promotion: 3 bottles for £25
• Olives Et Al – A wide range of olives, oils, vinegars, crackers and condiments

These events are free to attend, with tastings available throughout the day and all products available for purchase directly from the producers.
