Sophie Rosa is in demand as a soloist, director and chamber musician, performing at leading UK venues including he Royal Festival Hall, Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, Kings Place and Bridgewater Hall, appearing as soloist with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Manchester Camerata. She has broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and recorded for Rubicon Classics, EM Records and Champs Hill. Leader of Sinfonia Viva, she appears regularly as soloist and director, is a member of Pixels Ensemble, and peforms on a 1795 Joseph Gagliano violin and a Claude Fonclause bow, made available through the generous support of the Stradivari Trust.
Ian Buckle enjoys a varied career as solo pianist, chamber musician and orchestral pianist. Artistic Director of Pixels Ensemble (founded 2016), he has longstanding associations with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the John Wilson Orchestra, and has performed concertos with the Royal Philharmonic, Opera North and Sinfonia Viva. He is pianist with Ensemble 10/10, regularly performs with the BBC Philharmonic, teaches at the University of Liverpool, examines for ABRSM, and is an Artistic Director of Stapleford.
