Bank of Dreams and Nightmares present an evening with poet Deanna Rodger and young writers from across West Dorset performing their spoken word pieces.
Witness the culmination of something extraordinary. Young voices, often unheard, take centre stage to share their powerful stories of identity, resilience, and hope. Through our Resonate creative writing project, underrepresented young people aged 15-19 have discovered their voices and crafted compelling narratives that will move and inspire you. Experience authentic storytelling that breaks down barriers and builds understanding.
Deanna Rodger won the UK Poetry Slam at 18. Recently her reimagined version of ‘If’ was read by Serena Williams and she featured on BBC Two’s The Art That Made Us. She has two publications: I Did It Too and his fingers have left – both published by Burning Eye Books.
