And the main features from 7pm:

Film – The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind

Inspired by a science book, 13-year-old William Kamkwamba builds a wind turbine to save his Malawian village from famine. Based on a true story.

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind tells the inspiring true story of William Kamkwamba, a curious and resourceful teenager growing up in rural Malawi. When drought and economic hardship push his farming community into famine, William is forced to leave the school he loves because his family can no longer afford the fees.

Refusing to give up on learning, he secretly studies in the village library, where a science book sparks an audacious idea. Against all odds — and with only scrap materials, determination, and imagination — he designs and builds a wind turbine that helps bring electricity and water back to his village, offering hope when it is needed most.

Directed by and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, the film is a moving drama about resilience, family, education, and the power of ingenuity to change lives.
