Lotions & Potions Workshop

Join us for a fun, creative workshop this October Half-Term at the Salt House, West Bay!

Inspired by our exhibition, Dr Roberts – A Poor Man’s Friend, this hands-on workshop invites children to explore the fascinating world of traditional remedies, ingredients and Victorian-style advertising.

Children can discover a variety of scents and textures at our sensory table, experiment with creative combinations at the mixing table, and invent their very own pretend potion. They can then design personalised packaging, create their own labels and slogans, and make colourful posters.

A wonderful opportunity to combine history, creativity and sensory exploration while discovering the fascinating story of Dr Roberts and his famous remedies.

Suitable for children and families.
