Kira loves reading and visiting the library to find a new book is her favourite thing, until one day the words in the books start disappearing and the adults start to get grumpy. Graham Grey says the library will be knocked down to make way for a car park! With her new friend, the book worm, Kira has to uncover why words are vanishing, and where these book monsters have come from! Could there be a Book Witch in the library?
This enchanting new show celebrates libraries, storytelling, and imagination, featuring live music and captivating puppetry. Created with accessibility in mind, it also includes key word signing and integrated captions.
Recommended for ages 4+ and their families – bring a cushion!
Running time: 60mins no interval
Book Monster Puppet-Making Workshop!
After the show, children can join Coppice Theatre and make their very own spooky or friendly book monster using recycled materials!
Suitable for ages 4+, places limited. Children must be accompanied.
