An exploration of the lives and work of 6 extraordinary and world-renowned animation directors: Jim Blashfield, Rose Bond, Joan C. Gratz, Zak Margolis, Joanna Priestley, and Chel White. This feature documentary explores the lives and work of six award-winning animation directors based in Portland, Oregon. These independent filmmakers developed new styles and techniques which have entertained audiences and influenced filmmakers world wide.
FAFF – the world’s largest art film festival – presents over 100 films from 32 countries with a selection shown at the Bridport Arts Centre many for the first time in the UK.
The films presented are about how art is made, how artists think and work, and what makes creativity our most important skill, and our best hope for humankind.
