Half Penny Farm: Hot Dog Pop Up

We’re delighted to be welcoming Half Penny to Symondsbury Estate for an evening of great food, drinks and live music, all set against the backdrop of the Dorset countryside.

Half Penny is the family-run farm of Julian, Connor and Chiara, nestled amongst four acres of Devon countryside. Formerly Head Chefs at River Cottage HQ, Connor and Chiara have built their reputation around honest, seasonal food, produced with care and a genuine connection to the land.

Their off-grid farm is home to flourishing market gardens, orchards, polytunnels and a happy collection of free-ranging birds and woodland-raised pigs. Everything they do celebrates the journey from field to fork.

For this pop-up, they’ll be serving their much-loved hot dogs, cooked over embers and made entirely from scratch — from the soft steamed potato buns to the sausages and all the carefully crafted toppings.

We’ll have drinks available throughout the evening, live music on the terrace, and plenty of space to settle in and enjoy a relaxed summer evening with friends and family.
