Great Dorset Beach Clean

We are Litter Free Dorset – Land, Coast and Sea campaigning to reduce litter and waste as well as improve water quality across Dorset.

We can all help to keep our streets, towns and beaches clean from litter and safe for everyone.

Join us at one of our beach cleaning events…

The Great Dorset Beach Clean is back for it’s 35th year! Events will be taking place all along the Dorset Coast from Saturday 5th to Sunday 13th April 2025. The events are free for anyone to attend and it is a fantastic opportunity to get out and enjoy Dorset’s beautiful beaches whilst making a difference to keep our beaches clean and free from litter.

All events are organised by local community groups and volunteers who are passionate about keeping Dorset’s beaches clean. Check out all the events happening this year!

Unless otherwise stated all equipment is provided, however please bring your own gloves and wear sensible footwear.

05 APRIL – Cogden  and Lyme Regis

06 APRIL – Charmouth, Sandbanks, Swanage, West Bexington, Chesil Cove

07 APRIL – Hengistbury Head

09 APRIL – Poole

12 APRIL – Durdle Door, Seatown

13 APRIL – Swanage, Studland, Ringstead
