Workshop/ Course Description

Wednesday 10th September 9.30am – 4pm

Bring along your quilt top that you need to quilt and we will work out what the best way is to quilt it.

It is one of the most asked questions in the shop, so I have come up with a schedule for the day to get you started. On arrival I will have quilts on display, books and inspiration. we will have a coffee & I will chat about the quilts that will hopefully inspire you. We can then look & talk about the quilt tops you have brought in. Deciding on Wadding, backing, threads & what design to do can be a head ache.. but with a bit of planning I hope to get you going. Some may need marking up with a design before backing, some may need halp putting the wadding & backing. I will help you calculate how much binding you need & how to finish the edges & go round corners!

Numbers limited to 4 people so Book early! We will break for lunch around 1pm to stretch & enjoy the fresh air.

Bring a packed lunch or pop along to one of our independent cafes in town.
