This time honoured Bridport tradition of a free screening at the Palace of It’s a Wonderful Life will have you enthralled and enveloped in our cosy auditorium with glass of warm mulled wine and mince pie in hand.
It’s a Wonderful Life is one of the most acclaimed films ever made, nominated for five Academy Awards including Best Picture and has been recognized by the American Film Institute as one of the best American films ever made. After George Bailey (James Stewart) wishes he had never been born, an angel (Henry Travers) is sent to earth to make George’s wish come true. George starts to realize how many lives he has changed and impacted, and how they would be different if he was never there.
