Rhoda Dakar, a pioneering icon of the British 2-Tone ska movement and the legendary former frontwoman of The Bodysnatchers, has seamlessly translated her decades of musical heritage into a highly acclaimed career. Renowned for her historic collaborations with The Specials and The Special AKA, Dakar brings her deep, encyclopedic knowledge of music history to the decks, spinning vibrant sets that perfectly bridge the gap between classic ska, rocksteady, roots reggae, 2-Tone, and punk.
Her prowess as a DJ has seen her tour alongside legendary acts like UB40, The Selecter, and The Specials, as well as gracing curated festival stages from Glastonbury’s Leftfield to clubs worldwide.
