Choreography Geography 2024 – Part of BYD’s ART and DANCE in the LANDscape programme for young dancers.
Bridport Youth Dance will be performing another site specific performance in the local landscape – Choreography Geography.

 A site specific performance on Chapel Hill, Abbotsbury featuring Fingerprint dance company ( Grace and Growl).

A fusion of dance, movement, music, puppetry, nature and land.
Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September at 5.45pm. The performance starts at the bottom of Chapel Hill leading to the coast.

This year alongside the BYD dancers, emerging artists and BYD alumni – CG will also feature dancers from Fingerprint dance company. A local dance company of mature adults aged 50 years and over.

Tickets: Adult £9.50 / Child £7.50

ADVANCE TICKETS ARE NO LONGER ON SALE – YOU CAN BUY THEM AT THE VENUE (Cash Only)

The performance will involve a walk so please wear suitable footwear .

Do note that the ground is very uneven so please take care when walking around the site.

Choreography Geography starts at the bottom of Chapel Hill

No dogs due to possibility of cattle

Please bring a torch as it could go dark quickly when the performance ends.

Illchester Estate has asked that audience members park in Rodden Row Car Park prior to the performance.

Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time so you can walk to the bottom of Chapel Hill for the start of the performance at 5.45pm.
