Bridport Electric Palace
The show features dancers from Bridport Youth Dance and the BYD street dance crew together with guest artists – BYD alumni Louis Donovan, Charlie Green, Robyn Moss, Amber Palfreyman and Lucie Sivier.
Throughout, there will be soulful contemporary dance, high energy street and dynamic tap choreography interwoven with a transfer to stage of an adaptation of our latest Choreography Geography performance “The Power of Love” .
The show celebrates 21 years of BYD productions.
Produced by Nikki Northover
The Power of Love choreography by Nikki Northover, Aimee Symes, Claire Benson and the dancers.
The Power of Love is to an extent fictional and uses the true story of a young 12th century couple shipwrecked at St. Gabriel’s on the Jurassic coast as inspiration .
Within the story the human realm interweaves and dances alongside the spirit realm. But ultimately it is a tale about the power, the beauty and the mystery of love.
Directed by Nikki Northover and Aimee Symes
