Bridport Arts Centre
An ensemble of musicians from across the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra invite you to join them on a musical journey through the natural world, led by some very adventurous and curious creatures in a programme especially for families.
Imagine you are lying on a forest floor. The moon is shining brightly and there is a distant roar of the ocean. Listen closely and what might you hear? Perhaps a bird sings – was it a cuckoo or a nightingale? Maybe an owl swoops by you, wings outstretched, and was that a baby elephant dashing through the trees?
Expect a programme including pieces from Rimsky Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee to Villa-Lobos’ Floresta do Amazonas and Bjork’s Crystalline amongst many others, all presented by a BSO presenter
