BRIDPORT SWIFT TOWN PRESENTS…

A gentle walk around town, immersed in the sounds of a summer, pausing for readings & writing, sharing in the joy of swifts and making new poetry.
Join writer and performer Sarah Acton to share the joy of swifts & create new poems for Bridport Swift Town

Working outdoors and indoors as we will enjoy a short gentle walk around town, light on our feet as we listen for swift calls, stopping for fun interactive exercises and readings to generate fast and fresh ideas and share beginnings of new poems, returning for refreshments and shelter at the classroom base. Suitable for all levels and forms, beginners and advanced writers in poetry and prose. You will need to bring clothing layers and be prepared for time spent outdoors/ materials pens and clipboards provided.

For adults and young people aged 12+
