Book signing A Long Journey Home by Elizabeth Buckler Gale

Elizabeth Buckler Gale the well-known local historian (who also volunteers at West Bay Discovery Centre) has just published a new book documenting the remarkable story of a three-year-old girl Betty Mackay who was evacuated to west Dorset during the Second World War. After the war Betty returned to London but was desperate to return back to Burton Bradstock. Elizabeth will be joining us for a book signing session on Thursday 5th September.
