Beaminster Festival: oops wow messy art, drawing music

A series of playful creative workshops for different ages to explore drawing and making art inspired by music from this year’s festival. A whole body you-can’t-get-it-wrong wild kind of fun. Listen to the music with your hands and feet, dance with your pencils, dress for mess.

Jo has been running Oops Wow Messy Art sessions for children, families and grown-ups for the past 8 years. The sessions are aimed at people with any level of experience with drawing and art making.

The intention is to have fun together; exploring and playing, listening and responding. There is no expectation of producing any finished pieces, just an ambition that participants will enjoy looking at, and listening to things differently afterwards.

Thursday 30th May, 10am-11.30am, 2-5 year olds and their parent/carers
Thursday 30th May, 1pm-2.30pm, 5- 8 year olds and parent/carer
Friday 31st May, 10am-11.30am, 8 to 12 yr old. Parent can stay or drop off
Saturday 1st June, 7pm-9pm, Adults
