BACbeat Young Bands Summer showcase

Formed in 2024, Lota are an original indie/funk rock four-piece from the Southwest.

Vanity proj3ct are a five-piece high-energy indie rock band based in east Devon created by siblings Nelly and Digory Nash. Their raw in your face sound blends the likes of the Red Rot Chilli Peppers, the Arctic Monkeys and Blur.

Mojack was born in Devon. Their venues in the local area include garages, cider barns and festivals. Expect spine tingling indie covers and their own original tunes.

Gigging since 2020, when they were just 9 years old, Sideways Shapes are a band from West Dorset.  Playing punk-grunge tinged rock tuned for the 21st century, look out for the mix of occasional classic covers in their set of original songs.
