A Raspberry Jam is a open and free community meetup of people interested in programming, coding, electronics and computing, especially with the Raspberry Pi Computer. My son Eddie and two of his friends decided it was about time to set one up in Bridport, the closest being Exeter, not exactly round the corner. They ran the first event – kind of a jam, kind of a meeting of people interested in running the jam on May 20th, and it was great fun, with about 12 children getting involved. The next event will be held on June 24th, upstairs in Bridport Library. Hope to see you there! Please to come along if you have an interest in computing, programming, robot making and generally having fun with technology. Please note that this is not a structured event led by children and adults must take responsibiliy for their children at all time.
