Drawing Dance Workshop

How do artists capture movement in a mark on paper?

One is dynamic, changing, fluid in time. The other is still – it’s a dichotomy that has challenged and intrigued artists including Matisse, Degas and Manet.

Enjoy a day drawing dancers from Bridport Youth Dance alumni. We will attempt to capture the movement, energy and gestures  of the dancers.

This workshop is open to everyone, from beginners to practicing artists.

The course costs £75 for the day

This includes all materials (Paper, charcoal, ink, easels, boards) and refreshments.
