Bridport Dance Festival: Drawing Dance Workshop (Tues 15 April)

Description

How do artists capture movement in a mark on paper? 

Enjoy a day drawing dancers from Bridport Youth Dance alumni. We will attempt to capture the movement, energy and gestures of the dancers.

This workshop is open to everyone, from beginners to practising artists. It is led by artist Jo Burlington. Jo trained at the Ruskin School of Art and has many years experience running workshops and drawing/working with dancers.

Venue: Tithe Barn, Symondsbury Estate, Bridport, DT6 6HG

Date: Tuesday 15 April 10am-4pm

Cost: £75 for the day*

includes materials (paper, charcoal, ink, easels, boards) and refreshments.

Bring along any of your favourite things to draw with too.
