FILM: Vindication Swim (PG)

The inspirational story of Mercedes Gleitze (Kirsten Callaghan), the first British woman to swim the English Channel. She achieved this feat on October 7 1927. Shortly afterwards another woman claimed to have done the same but in a shorter time.  She was shown to be lying, but Mercedes’s own achievement was called into question, forcing her into a repeat performance, the “vindication swim” of the title.
