Once again for Dorset Architecture Week we are opening our mezzanine area which is office space and normally closed to the public. On Sunday 8th September it will be accessible for one day only to enable high-level viewing of the interior and to enable views from the windows out to the harbour and beach to be enjoyed.  Our home was a former Methodist Chapel, which is Grade II listed. It was constructed by a local shipbuilder and completed in 1849. After laying largely unused for several years, it was completely restored and adapted for use as a visitor centre in 2018.

Please note there is no access to the mezzanine level for wheelchairs or dogs although we both accessible to all and dog friendly in the area downstairs that is our Visitor Centre.
