Despite being written almost 30 years ago, the play’s central themes remain as vivid and relevant today as they were in 1997. It provides a unique insight into the deeply felt emotions of those on all sides of those involved in the conflict – a must for anyone seeking to understand the complexities of the region.
This performance is acted and directed by the actor Gary Hay and produced by Margie Barbour. The production is supported by a local choir, led by Jane Silver Corren, singing Israeli, Palestinian and Christian songs in Hebrew, Arabic and Latin. The production is raising funds for the charities Oasis of Peace and The Chapel in the Garden.
