Join us at The Bookery for an evening of readings, insights and discussion on the theme of WAR.

Our guests are author and journalist Jon Lee Anderson (his latest book, To Lose a War: The Fall and Rise of the Taliban was published in February), writer and artist Jo Denbury (sharing memories and letters from her Great Aunt, the war-decorated aeronautical engineer, Beatrice Shilling – ‘the woman who saved the Spitfire’) and poetry by the late Pamela Gillilan (read by her daughter Lesley).
