Seaweed Forage & Feast Workshop

Hosted by the Seaweed People

Join us for a morning out on the rocks of Dorset. We will be exploring the intertidal zone, a rich and varied habitat for seaweeds and smaller organisms. We will also provide snacks made with seaweed as an ingredient and refreshing homemade drinks (most likely non-seaweed) too.

You will need sun protective gear, good footwear, clothes you don’t mind getting wet in and a container to collect your own seaweed. We will be walking over uneven rocky ground, so do keep that in mind when booking a ticket.

Our foraging events usually happen at a site between Weymouth and Kimmeridge, but the exact location will be provided soon.

Once you buy a ticket, you will be added to our list of people to update. Duration of the event is usually 10:30am – 12:30/1pm, this will be finalised too closer to the date.
