Early Autum Wildflower Walk

Take a guided walk across Tamarisk Farm in it’s Autumnal beauty and discover the wonderful array of flowers and plants that thrive there.

During our annual Wildflower Walk in June, it was proposed that an Autumn walk would be just as interesting, so we’re deciding to give it a go.

You can’t expect the brilliant array of bright Spring and Summer flowers, but instead enjoy the more subtle gems – spotting plants in their seed-growing stage, and trying to find the late summer flowers.

The walk will take between 2-3 hours.

Please gather in time for a prompt 10.30am start.

Dogs are welcome, if well-behaved and on a lead.

Please wear appropriate outdoor shoes and clothes.

We can hope it will be lovely and warm for this event, but remember to be prepared!

At least part of the walk will be on paths that can take a rugged wheelchair; if you are disabled and wish to come, please discuss with us your requirements so that we can do our best to accommodate you.

Children are also welcome.
