The BCO is a string orchestra that formed over forty years ago in association with the New Elizabethan Singers.  It aims to perform three concerts a year and is always interested both to expand its repertoire and to welcome new players of Grade V and above.  The present conductor, Arturo Serna, has introduced some exciting new Latin American touches to programmes and also performed with the orchestra as a solo cellist.
