Children’s Festival
Taking place on Saturday 7th November at the Lyric Theatre, KidLit is the new festival within a festival for children. This year’s programme starts with storytelling for tiny readers and ends with a high-adrenaline “draw-off” between authors and illustrators.
There will be drop-in puppet workshops from the Lyric’s resident puppeteer Holly Miller and appearances from some of Britain’s most-celebrated children’s writers, illustrator Laurence Anholt, Costa award winner Jasbinder Bilan, Roald Dahl award winner Philip Ardagh and Vivian French MBE. Tickets start from just £3.00, with day family day passes for £20.
