Atkins brings together sculpture, drawing and lens-based imagery, using mechanical, chemical and digital processes, everyday objects, construction and discarded materials.
Fadelands is a journey through uncertainty: a landscape of entangled paths, buildings of myriad rooms, where fleeting insights, points of intricacies, shifts in shadow and fissures within certainties move towards elusive images and innominate forms.
Framed and unframed images, small and large sculptural works, and time-based images on intimate and larger screens form a potent multidimensional composition.
