PAINTING WITH NATURE

In this Painting with Nature course, books will be our inspiration. We will enjoy excerpts and ideas from a variety of authors creating a reflective and gentle space for all those with a love of art and literature.

Each week we will make a piece of art in response to the writing. Participants will have the chance to experiment with different materials and techniques including Chinese brush, inks, charcoal, paint and natural drawing materials. It will be a place to explore your own creative potential and ideas – all materials will be provided.

Helen is a practising artist and experienced teacher and has worked in museums, universities and historic houses for many years using art as a way to connect with community, heritage and local landscape.
