This half day workshop introduces you to the simple techniques and tools required to make your own basic 20cm drum lampshade.
During the morning you will learn about pattern placement, attaching fabric to the laminate backing, rolling on to rings and finishing off.
A 20cm diameter Drum Lampshade kit is provided, all necessary tools are provided for you to use. If you have fabric in mind you would like to use please do bring it along or choose from a selection on the day. A simple cotton is easiest to work with initially. Your fabric needs to be 70cm wide x 30cm high, preferably ironed and rolled to avoid creases.
