Andrew Goldberg, piano
Goldberg trained under Prof. Hugo Odenthal (Cologne Philharmonie). His work draws on both the Romantic Period and Contemporary
Minimalism of artists like Steve Reich and Philip Glass. He worked with many world known artists, collaborating with classical
Hindustani Pandits including the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan as much as working for Stadium Opera and Circus productions. For many
years, Andrew Goldberg was the main composer and music director for the late French choreographer Catherine Massin.


 

Ricky Romain, sitar
Romain studied sitar and Indian Classical Music (ICM) with Punita Gupta, a disciple of Ravi Shankar and later with Bengali sitar player
Pandit Gunguly. Romain has been involved in a wide variety of collaborations and recordings with Classical Indian musicians in the UK
and the EU featuring his sitar. His beautiful performances and improvisations are featured in Robert Golden’s Documentary film
productions. Ricky Romain is also a visual artist based in Devon.


 

John Robertson, guitar
Robertson has played with The Selecter, Grace Jones and Morcheeba, including a truly endless list of collaborations with world known
artists and performers. He is a fully accomplished guitarist, composer and producer. He met Goldberg Romain in 2022 and conducted
the mastering of their debut album ‘Variations for piano and sitar’. Robertson joins the duo for their live concerts and has started cowriting
and recording the new works for Goldberg Romain’s forthcoming second album.
