Welcome to the 2026 Bridport Literary Festival
A festival is more than just a string of events. It’s a community, locals and visitors united by their love of reading. In Tanya Bruce-Lockhart, we’ve lost a key member of that band. I hope she’d have appreciated the ambition of this year’s festival, which builds on her vision. BridLit 2026 may be a new chapter, but it’s part of a wonderful long-running story.
