Boris Starling is an award-winning author and screenwriter whose books have appeared on the Sunday Time and New York Times bestselling lists. THE LAW OF THE HEART is his ninth novel. He has also written several non-fiction books, including Unconquerable (about the Invictus Games), The Official History of Britain (in collaboration with the Office of National Statistics), Open Side (the autobiography of the British Lions Rugby Captain, Sam Warburton) and Leap of Faith (the autobiography of Frankie Dettori). He is the series creator of Messiah which ran for five seasons on BBC1. He lives in West Dorset with his family and other animals.

Olivia Glazebrook is a writer living in Dorset with a particular interest in fiction. Her latest novel The Frank Business was published by John Murray.
